(7/11) Africa – ''where time has stopped'' Expedition – Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Kenya 27 days (tents, hotels)

From Johannesburg to Nairobi - a trip for experienced and tenacious travelers. The adventure at every turn and plenty of experience. Sometimes we find ourselves far from civilization, sometimes 300 km from the nearest village. To make trip a success we expect from you understanding and active participation in events

Day 1
Flight to Africa.
Day 2
After landing in Livingstone – Zambia, we head towards the magnificent Victoria Falls. We visit the northern side of the waterfalls. Overnight at the lodge. (Dinner at own expense)  
Day 3
Early in the morning we drive towards the river Gwambi. Evening we spend by the swimming pool in the camp. Bedded camp tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Days 4, 5, 6
After reviewing the safety rules we start rafting the Zambezi. We spend two days enjoying the unique richness of aquatic birds, hippos and many other animals, using this great watering hole. Overnight spend at the edge of the river, which will give us the unique opportunity of contact with nature. The walk through the bush, returning by boat to Gwambi camp for a well deserved shower and good meal. Overnight – camping tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 7
We continue our journey north through the city of Lusaka, where the purchase supplies before we start again with the "great eastern road" to the camp in the region Kahalola. Overnight – camping tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Days 8, 9
We go to a camp on the Luangwa River. We spend two days at the National Park boundary. Photo-safari in search of leopards. Overnight – camping tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Days 10, 11
Today, we enter into Malawi. After completing the inventory we spend some time buying souvenirs in the town of Lilongwe. We continue our journey towards Lake Malawi. We spent two nights in camp on the beach of Malawi Lake. The time has elapsed for us relaxing on the beach. For more active – diving in the lake. Accommodation – camp tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Days 12, 13
Coming winding road along the coast of the lake, we head towards Chintenche, where once again we will spend the night on the beach, feeling one of the jewels of Africa – Lake Malawi. "Our last stop on Lake Malawi is a settlement, "Karonga" near the border with Tanzania, where getting ready to cross the border the next morning. Overnight – camping tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 14
Today we enter Tanzania, hundreds of miles of wild Africa. At night camping in the village Mikumu. Camp tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 15 
Around noon we reach the capital of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam. We pass through the busy port city, where you take a seat on the ferry to sail to Zanzibar – Island of Spice. Bedded bungalows. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Days 16, 17, 18
After a thorough tour of the island we spend time in the surrounding villages and the sandy beach. Deeper into the mysteries of the stone town, visit the pits of slavery, the slave trade era. We visit the bazaar of spices and tropical fruit market. Evening, we cost the local cuisine, dinner (at own expense) and overnight – bungalow. (Breakfast, lunch)
Day 19
Leaving the island of spices behind, we take a ferry to the mainland, Accommodation - camping tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Days 20, 21
Approaching early morning to Dar es Salaam, sit in a vehicle and continue our journey through Arushia where we spend two nights in this vibrant city. Then, days on market, gift shop and other local products. Maybe the weather will allow us to admire the view of Mount Kilimanjaro - the highest top of the African continent. Overnight – camping tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 22
Travelling from Arusha to the Serengeti, we pass from the tribe of Masai herdsmen, grazing their herds between flocks of wild animals. Most of the day is spent on photo-safari. Overnight in Serengeti camp – tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 23
From early morning photo safari in Sterengeti. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro camp – tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 24
We drive to the Ngorongoro Crater sloping path, the footsteps of all-terrain vehicles. The special climate of the crater, lake, marsh, grassland and acacia forest provide ideal living conditions for residents, from elephants to flamingos, including the Masai herdsmen. At night we leave the crater and coming back to camp Arusha. Overnight – camping tents. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 25
With a view of the outline of Mount Kilimanjaro, go north to Nairobi, Kenya. Overnight spend at the local hotel, dinner (at own expense). (Dinner)
Day 26
After breakfast we say goodbye to the friends on the tour, transfer to the airport - back to the country.
Day 27
Landing in Europe
PRICE INCLUDES: accommodation according to program. Meals mentioned in the program. Transportation – special truck designed for the comfort of tourists. Services of guide / driver on the entire route of the expedition.
PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: flights of aircraft, according to the admission of 560 dollars and elective admission, visas, insurance, tips.

To maintain the freshness of food in the African heat in the vehicle has a refrigerator. Spacious seating, ample legroom, and two tables, luggage racks above the heads of personal help to spend time in comfort on long journeys. Lockable safes allow the safe concealment of documents and money. Acoustic systems for fun. In the vehicle there is a bookcase with many books for travelers longed intellectual debauchery. During our trip a few nights we have in lodges, but an adventure that provides memorable experience begins in tents under the open sky of Africa. Space camps are selected because of the atmosphere, sanitation and location. Sleeping under African stars in a tent designed and built by a South African company with years of experience, guard against insects help us sleep. Sleeping in tents will help us to experience the thrill of camping among the wildlife. Evenings usually end in a group feast around a burning fire, and the stories of lived a day full of adventures.
The vehicle is equipped with: gas cylinder, a refrigerator with a capacity of 200 liters, grill, food storage containers, water tank of 200 liters capacity, mini-fridge is still inside the cab on a cold beer, equipment for preparing food and washing dishes or proper, Cutlery, cups, glasses, canvas roof to protect from sun and rain during the preparation and consumption.
Each day starts too early (as they say tourists) which is at approx. 7 am and after breakfast at around 8-day program begins. To arrive on time travel to the next point, you need a co-participant in so little time and so many things to see ...
Your participation
While most of the work performed expedition guide and driver. Participants in the wash help according to established roster. Disassembly and the tents themselves, but who was not a scout, a companion driver / guide will help you, but we packed ourselves. Guide / driver always appreciate the extra help and culinary knowledge.
The meals – as per itenerary (if the day program stipulates otherwise.) Also address the needs of vegetarians, so they are always impressed by our varied menu. We suggest you to try some of the imaginative regional cuisine, as well as favorite hits.
Besides lodges we will stay in 2-person tents with a height 1.9 m and a width of 2.4 x 2.4 m. We sleep in their sleeping bags, but the expandable beds specially designed for this kind of expeditions. Sleeping bag with a tolerance of not more than 8-20 ˚ C is sufficient, but in the months of June, July and August handy sleeping bag with tolerance -4-20 ˚ C, will not have to cuddle up to you. The vehicle is equipped with beds, but we have blown their own panels. Camps are equipped with sanitary facilities such as toilets, showers with hot water and swimming pools.
Visas and passports
Visas to countries need to be dealt with by the traveler. The passport must have a min. 5 empty  pages for visas, and should be valid min. 6 months after the planned date of return from Africa.
What to bring?.
First of all, the desire to play and a flexible attitude-remember this is Africa Hakuna matata. Main luggage should weigh not more than 20 kg, (soft bag with wheels). Hand luggage should be small enough to fit in compartment above the seat on the plane. We advise you to carefully sign any luggage, large and small (handheld), sleeping bag (most nights we are in tents, and nights in Africa are sometimes cool, especially at altitude), flashlight, jacket protection from rain and wind, warm fleece, long pants, shorts, a few T-shirts, swimsuit, comfortable shoes the whole security of the rain, sandals, shower flip, camera, binoculars, memory cards much oil, at least 16 against sunburn, sun-hat, a measure against the mosquito, sunglasses, personal medication + bandages, scissors, toiletries.
