(11.6) South Africa & Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe 11 days

Western Cape, Land of the Rising Sun of Africa, Kruger Park, Pretoria, Victoria Falls

Day 1
Departure to Cape Town.
Day 2
Arrival in Cape Town, welcome by a representative of African Discovery. Cape Town city tour: Company Botanical Gardens, Malay Quarters – buildings once occupied by slaves, marketplace, time at leisure in the city center. Walk around the promenade. We visit the famous Water Front – Part ports available for tourists. “Mother City” is picturesquely situated between Table Mountain and Table Bay. Under good weather conditions we take a trip on a cable car to the top of Table Mountain, which offers wonderful panoramic views. Welcoming the African sunset with a glass of local wine. Transfer to the Lodge 4* in walking distance from the beach, overlooking the entire Table Bay with the city. Overnight. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 3
Departure to visit the Cape peninsula. Drive along the coast to the picturesque Hout Bay where we take a boat trip to the Seal Island, drive through famous scenic Chapman’s Peak. Transfer to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Peninsula, a place where two oceans meet: the Indian and Atlantic. We visit the place where the famous explorers Bartolommeo Dias and Vasko Da Gama put the first Christian crosses on the African continent. On the way back to Cape Town visit Penguins Beach in Simons Town, where at any time of year can be found around 4000 penguins. Dinner on Long Street in Cape Town. Overnight in Cape Town in the hotel 4* (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 4
After an early breakfast, drive to the airport and flight to Johannesburg. After landing, the transfer to the Kruger National Park. Night safari on off-road vehicles, dinner and overnight at the camp, park-bungalows. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 5
After breakfast, photo safari in the park with a break for lunch. In the afternoon another game drive through the Kruger National Park-one of the most famous reserves in the world-a symbol of South Africa stretches 400 km from north to south and 70 km from east to west. The northern part of the park is located in the Limpopo Province and Mpumalanga in the south. In this vast area of 147 living species of mammals (including the so-called. "Big Five": lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes), as well as 114 species of reptiles, 33 amphibians, 50 species of fish and 300 species of trees. It was noted the presence of more than 500 different types of birds. Dinner and overnight in 3* hotel in the Drakensberg Mountains. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 6
Drive to Pretoria though Blyde River Canyon Reserve which is located in the Drakensberg Mountains. Blyde River Canyon and surrounding areas offer the most spectacular scenery in South Africa. Canyon is the third largest in the world, and unique geological formations such as Burke Luck Potholes, Three Rondavels,  God's Window are the major attractions of this canyon. Drive through one of the most scenic route "Panorama Route"  the tropical rainforest, a waterfalls Berlin and Lisbon. Arrival in Pretoria-Tswane. Dinner and overnight 3* hotel. (Breakfast, dinner-hotel)
Day 7
After breakfast, city tour of Pretoria. Pretoria (Tshwane new name), which is the administrative capital of South Africa, also known as the "city of gardens" or "city of jakaranda" (more than 80,000 trees). The Union Building, the complex of government buildings, extends to a breathtaking view of the city. We visit the house of Paul Kruger – famous farmer and president of the Transvaal Republic. We visit the Voortrekkers Monument (Monument to Boer settlers), presented the history of the Great Track (Groot Trek), carved in the 93 meters long marble fresco. In the afternoon we go to Cultural village Lesedi, where we familiarize our self with culture of five different tribes of Africa: Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho, Pedi, Ndebele. After the dancing, singing of local people a dinner where we have the opportunity to try African cuisine with dishes from wild animals. At the evenings by the fire we listen to the African stories. Dinner and overnight at the 3* village, in huts covered with grass, adapted for the comfort of tourists. (Breakfast, dinner – hotel)
Day 8
Early arrival at Johannesburg airport, fly to the Zimbabwe – Victoria Falls (2 hours). After landing in Victoria Falls (Viza multiple cross-border U.S. $ 40) transfer to hotel near Victoria Falls. Free time to plan your stay. Around 16h00 transfer to the pier by the river to boating at sunset over the Zambezi River, in the course we will look for animals. On the boat a small snack and drinks without limitations (cost $ 45.) After returning to the hotel dinner show of folk dances from the local population. Overnight in hotel 3 *. (Breakfast and dinner).
Day 9
After breakfast we visit the Victoria Falls at Zimbabwe, $ 30, and from the Zambian side cost $ 20 (visa border crossing U.S. $ 70). The possibility of helicopter flight $ 85 over the waterfalls, bungee jumping cost $ 95 (111m). Evening transfer to dinner at Boma – traditional African dishes prepared from wild animals, during the dinner – folk performances, active drums playing cost $ 60. Overnight in hotel 3*. (Breakfast)
Day 10
After breakfast optional elephants safari (cost about $ 85.) At noon, transfer to airport and fly to Johannesburg 13H45, 15H25 16H25 landing. Re-check the continued flight to Polish. (Breakfast)
Day 11
Flight to Europe.    
PRICE INCLUDES: Accommodation in hotels at 3* and 4* in bungalows, bed rooms with bathroom, air conditioning (where necessary), kettle, coffee and tea in the rooms in most hotels. Swimming pools. Meals mentioned in the program. Transport with air conditioning. Services of tour guide in South Africa.
